How do you delete things from your inventory?

you can drag them to the little bin shaped icon below your chareter on the inv screen which will delete the item/s, or go outside and drag the item/s onto the floor.

Another way is just to simply drop them on the ground while outside

Most items can be sold, so you might as well make 3gold off of them and walk to the trader to sell.
